Recently, Lifetime Televisions, "Little Women Dallas," hired Wendy and featured her teaching Improv to Amanda. This past Summer 2017, Wendy used her improv training in a 48 Hour Film Race where she quickly wrote a script and starred in, “Something Borrowed, Someone Blue.” The film WON! The screenwriting WON! Winning placed the film in competition in Paris, France happening March 6, 2018. Meanwhile, she is busy producing more films.
endy has worked along side Steve Martin, Adam West, Tim Conway, Marion Ross and so many other wonderful actors in her long acting career. She has starred in National Commercials, Recurring TV roles, many films.
Her teaching career started at 20 years old, when after performing at The Dallas Children's Theater, they hired her on as an instructor. Soon she moved to Hollywood where she spent 14 years working and training with the best. Coming back to Dallas... she created IMPROV DALLAS!!!
Improv is the ultimate teaching tool. Acting is all about reacting-responding naturally to what has been said or done onstage and on-camera. Since acting is reacting, there is nothing that will build your acting skills faster than improv. It is now a required skill for the serious film, TV and commercial actor.
