Richard's background includes film, TV, radio, improvisational comedy, stand-up comedy, stage and animation. He studied drama at the University of North Texas and earned his BFA in Painting and Drawing.
He performed with the Ad-Libs Improvisational Comedy Group in Dallas, TX for five years. He worked as the head writer and voice talent for the BigTime Radio Network. He performed with Dallas theater groups including The Classical Acting Company, The HUB Theater and The Pocket Sandwich Theatre. He performed stand up at Dallas area clubs including BackDoor Comedy, Hyenas, and the Improv. He also performed at the Inaugural Denton Comedy Festival and hosted all three of the Demonic Chronic Film Festivals. He worked as a writer and performer for ONQTV and created his own series of short animated films called Psycho Puppet Theater.
Richard works regularly in short films, web series, commercials, television and feature films in the Dallas area.
In late 2014, he formed Wanda Wayne Productions, a small independent production company dedicated to creating cool web series, films and TV shows. He wrote, produced and appears in 'Yoga Garage' a 9 episode comedy web series that is currently looking for a platform.
Richard wrote, produced and appears in Far Out Fiesta, a weekly Thursday night sketch, internet radio comedy series on PodCast City, Podbean and iTunes.
